Check Your Record
exists to provide individuals with the opportunity to access
criminal record information held against their name by UK
Police forces on the Police National Computer.
Disclosures are
the new way to get a Police Check.
Disclosures are
available at three levels.
Standard
& Enhanced Disclosures are available to people
employed in particular roles. This includes those who come
into contact with vulnerable people, those working in the
security & gambling industries etc. Although the Disclosure
is applied for by the individual applicant, applications can
only be made via an 'employer'. For more information on these
'Higher Level Disclosures' visit our site at www.criminalrecordcheck.co.uk
Disclosures at this level include details of otherwise 'spent'
convictions. Our parent company, Life Opportunities, is a
registered 'Umbrella Body' with the UK Government Criminal
Records Bureau.
Basic Disclosures
are the means by which any individual can demonstrate
their recent criminal conviction history, or lack of one.
Basic Disclosures will show all current unspent convictions
held against an applicants name by local UK Police forces
and on the Police National Computer. Although Basic Disclosures
are not currently available from the Criminal Records Bureau,
Check Your Record can facilitate access to them via
an alternate UK Government source.
A substantial investment
will allow our full online application process to go live
in the next few weeks. If you can't wait for this and need
to process an application now or want further information,
contact the team using the 'contact'
link.
